6 months old!!

*Chloe about two days old*

Today, Chloe is 6 months old. Wow, 6 months. Has it really been that long? Seems like just yesterday I was pregnant! Its amazing how much my little girl has grown. She can roll over both ways, still sucks her thumb, sorta sits up, constantly frustrated when she cant get a toy just out of reach, gets up on her knees often, eating rice cereal, carrots, and peas. Loves to smile and laugh. She's a very easy going baby. Even when her teeth were coming in she wasnt really cranky. Just a little fussy. She has 2 teeth. Both on the bottom. Totally cute. She's definitely getting more active. And while she is only rolling around, she is quite mobile! She must really enjoy sleeping on her tummy too cause she is pretty much in that position every night when we check on her and every morning when she gets up. One night we found her on her tummy, sucking her thumb, with her butt in the air! Totally cute! Need to get a picture of it next time!


*Chloe at 5.5 months*

Yesterday we had her 6 month check up and she is doing great! Her weight is in the 85% at 18 pounds, her height is in the 78% at 26.5 inches, and her head is in the 86% at 17 1/4in. She's definitely growing. We;ve discovered that Gerber clothes dont always mean what they say size wise. She's grown almost out of the 6-9 month ones. But Carters are much better!

A year ago, I was counting down the days to when we would find out whether we were meet Chloe or Josiah. 6 months ago, we birth a beautiful baby girl who has filled us with so much joy and love. Jake and I love being parents, love watching our daughter grow and learn new things, and watch just how much joy she has. God really has blessed up with a beautiful baby girl!!
