You want how much??

I know there are a lot of people in the same boat as me. Penny pinching on everything. Saving everywhere possible. Buying only what is needed and buy less of what is wanted. So why does it seem like the prices on things are just going up?? Not down or staying put. They are going up! We cant afford it already and yet they still keep going up! Trying to find a decent bed set that's not tacky, will match Chloe;s bedding, and be decent price wise is a nightmare! Some of these things can go as high as $400!! Who pays that much?? I mean really! Why pay that much! There's no reason for it! Im appalled when I have to pay over $50 for crib bedding sets! Diaper bags too! I've seen some spendy ones all cause they are "cute", "stylish", and "the fad". Im sorry. I dont see how carrying a diaper bag/purse that's totally stylish and cute for $100 is worth it! And they are even more expensive then that! It amazes me that people wonder why our country is so screwed up! We spend thousands of dollars on frivolous things that mean nothing to us! Things that in all reality, we can do without. I mean, think of the things we could do with the amount of money we spend on things we dont need! Celebrities are notorious for this! Im pretty sure that baby will not care if their room cost $300 to do or $30,000 to do! They dont care! Their too young! And on top of it, they arent even going to be in the room except to maybe eat, sleep and get changed! Do we really need all that crap? All the stuff we've convinced ourselves we need and why we need it and why we need it right now instead of in a month or so! Jake and I are really trying to keep our finances under control. Specially with Josiah making an appearance in less then 4 weeks! It's hard work! Specially if you arent on top of it all the time! So we will continue to try and spend our money wisely and the whole time I look for discounts and coupons and whatever else I can find to make it cheaper, I will constantly be asking "you want how much?" cause really the prices on somethings are RIDICULOUS!!
