Becky took these two photos on Easter Sunday. The top one has become our favorite. I think it really captures Chloe!

Man, we have definitely been busy!! I am currently getting together with our Pastor's wife and another gal for worship practice for our women's retreat. Im excited for it this year. I wont be pregnant and so will be able to enjoy myself a little bit easier and I've opted to leave Chloe at home so that I can be 100% focused on God and what he has to show me during the weekend. It will be interesting, I will think of Chloe lots and will miss her terribly! This will be my first weekend away from her! Im kinda nervous about it! But I feel this is the best decision for me. Besides, its good bonding time with daddy! Jake is currently about to go to CA for a week for a work trip. That should be some what fun for him. I think anyways, we will no more later! We have both been working in our yard! Trying to get the valve box finished, which it is for the most part. Need to pressurize it and then hopefully, dig a ditch, connect to the back sprinklers, adjust heads, level dirt, get sod in, and be done!! Our goal is to finish by end of May but will more then likely be June as we are busy two weekends in May. Thats fine though. I just want it done before Chloe's birthday so we have grass for her party! And yes I've started planning already! I would have had it done in January but didnt want people to laugh at me for planning so early! lol
Chloe, my lovely bug, is definitely growing! As of today, she is 20 pounds, and an active little bugger! She's recently learned to crawl which means she's everywhere. She discovered the dog food and keeps trying to eat it. She crawls everywhere. I will be in the living room watching tv and Jake will be in our bedroom on his computer and Chloe will just crawl back and forth between the two rooms and stop long enough to play. And she's fast too!! In discovering she can crawl, she can also sit herself up. She does this often while in the tub. Totally cute! She copies us when we make noises to her, claps her hands, laughs and smiles a lot, and will just randomly start laughing or jumping in excitement for what we think is no reason. Very cute! She plays with the dog, well more like the dog plays with her. Chloe will be crawling around and the dog will run up to her, sniff her, lick her, nip a little at her *playfully, she doesnt hurt Chloe at all, in fact Chloe loves it and just laughs!* and Chloe will try and grab the dog and crawl after the dog. Its quite cute actually to watch. There are times that I think I have everything up and Chloe will find something to get into. She keeps trying to pull the monitor on her and really wants to check out why the fireplace is glowing. I think she is starting to learn that when I say her name and no that I mean no, but its not quite clicking yet. She has 4 teeth now, two on top and two on bottom. Which is good since she eats alot of solids! Oatmeal, banans, carrots, squash, g.beans, peas, mangos, canteloupe, raspberries, blueberries, zucchini, avacado, hamburger, rice, crackers, bread, plums, peaches, pears, apples. I think thats all of it so far. She loves eating! She eats a lot and then will still nurse afterwards! No wonder she's growing so much! She's getting big. 8 months old now and still going. In a little over 3 months, my baby girl will be a year old! Ahh! Where did the time go? I feel like it was just yesterday we were finding out we were pregnant! I must say that even with the hard times, Im really enjoying being a mom. I love watching Chloe and how she does things. Crawls, figures things out, interacts with people, with mom and dad. I love playing with her, and walking with her, giving her a bath, feeding her, snuggling with her. I love everything about being a mom. And I know Jake loves being a dad. He cant get over how adorable his daughter is, tells her all the time, and I love watching him interact with her. She gives him a big smile when he says hi to her in the morning or when he comes home from work. Chloe is such an easy going baby, happy all the time, *she does have her moments though!* and really a joy. We went to Shang Hai in Tricities with my mom and grams and my best friend and her family. While waiting for Miki to get there, we went ahead and got out table and got the highchair ready for miss Chloe to sit down in. While we were doing this, the waitress was enamored with Chloe. She just kept saying how cute and adorable she was. She wasnt even our waitress. But she kept coming back and saying it. It was funny. She couldnt get over how cute Chloe was. I happen to agree and no Im not biased! lol
We did celebrate Easter with my family. Mom came to WW and Rachel's whole family came over. Becky and Jason joined us all. I made dinner with help from Jake which actually turned out good. Then we had an Easter egg hunt. And even Kayla and Chloe got to participate with their own eggs. Kayla was dressed as a cute yellow bunny! We had a lot of fun though. Chloe likes to play outside so it was fun to see her enjoying herself. Anyways, this is getting long and I need to go to bed! So I leave you with some pictures for you to enjoy from the last couple of weeks!

I'm so behind on your blog. Lol! I need to get some ideas from you on food for Kayla. I'm feeling uninspired these days and she needs some new foods! Finger foods are the new challenge...she's getting bored with Cheerios. :) I think maybe we'll get some watermelon. That should be easy enough for her to pick up. I gave her a piece of Ritz cracker the other day and she loved that...I also gave her a little piece of cheddar cheese and she seemed to enjoy that, too. Time to be creative!
