I have discovered I have 6 amazing women in my life. Some Im closer to then other but all have helped me and been there for me. Miki, my best friend whom I've known the longest, almost 10 years! We met in summer of 2000 and I remember it because it was the day I discovered that it was her brother my sister got into a car accident because she was waving to him from her car! That was an interesting meet! We've had our ups and downs but we are stronger because of it and I am truly blessed to have her as my friend. She was really there for us on the hardest day of our life when we lost baby raspberry. She's an amazingly caring woman!
Melissa I met in small groups. Didnt not realize I would form such a bond with her. We really got to know each other. She started coming over weekly to do laundry at our house then went to women's retreat with me. We've grown really close. Im sad she has moved away but so happy things are going well.
Becky, whom I've known the shortest, I actually met in my parenting class. We were due a week apart and both having girls. We got to each other and our husbands because we were basically the only two couples in the parenting class allowing us to really talk and open up. Then after the class was over, we invited them to our small groups. Then we had babies one day apart! We've really grown a great friendship. It's nice going through the same parenting joys and woes with someone who completely understands cause they are going through it now too. We think alot like and yet completely different and I really like where our friendship is going!
I can remember my first time meeting Lee. We were trying New Life Assembly for the first time. It was the weekend that Dark Knight came out actually cause it was also my mother's birthday. I was about 8 weeks pregnant and Lee was about 5-6 months pregnant! She led worship and then during meet and greet introduced herself to me. We didnt actually start going to the church till October, after I miscarried but since then we have really gotten to know each other. She had her son a month after I found out I was pregnant again. She was helpful to me during my pregnancy and got me hooked on LOST. Its all your fault Lee!! I really enjoyed the walks we took with them and the LOST nights at their apartment. I really got to know Lee a lot and sad she's currently in Pullman! Hopefully they move back to Walla Walla!!
Julane and Sarah. Two people who were friends before they came to our church and have really become involved. I've gotten to know them together and separately. I've learned a lot from these two women and hope to learn so much more. Their passion and dedication to God and their family is amazing to me and what I want to do. They both have recently bought houses in College Place meaning they will be sticking around for a while and Im looking forward to the future and see how our children will grown, and play together and how they influence my life and help me become the woman I want to be. I love spending time with them and just enjoy myself. Im looking forward to summer where we can do pinics and park days!
All these women hold a special place in my heart. All women with different views, looks on life, God, parenting, and everyday issues. All whose opinions I value. I thank God everyday for the women and look forward to seeing what will happen with our friendships. I hope these women will be part of the friends for life category!

I often think of how fortunate I am that God placed you and Jake in the same class as Jason and I. You guys have been a huge blessing in our lives, and I feel so lucky to have someone I get along with so well who, like you said, understands what I'm going through, because you are, too!
Thanks for including me in this post. I feel super privileged to make your Top Six. :) You're in mine, too.
