Vancouver

Oct 2011, one of my best friends moved away to Vancouver, Wa. She came back often as her husband and daughter were here till January so we still go to see her often. They moved over for good in January 2012. I saw her last at her baby shower I threw her at the end of March. That was 3 months ago! This is a person who I saw practically every weekend and sometimes several days during the week! Someone who I texted often or chatted with on google. We still do the latter but man, not seeing them every weekend was hard! The last weekend of June, we went to Vancouver to see them and meet their newest member, Kayla's little sister, Elizabeth. It was so good to see them! Kayla and Chloe picked up right where they left off. It was like they hadn't ever been apart. The played well, for the most part, together and enjoyed painting, walking, taking a bath, and whatever else they were doing.

*on a walk to the coffee shop* It was fun to hold the newest member, see Becky and Jason, watch the kids play together and even get a very small amount of Mario in! We had dinner together and went to breakfast at IHOP which should have been lunch because we got there late but it was soooo good! We went on walks, went shopping, and just enjoyed each others company. I would have liked to have done more and had more time to do things. And nicer weather but it was good to just sit and talk. We are in two different areas now and it's fun to explore their area and see new things. There is even a Godfather's Pizza there! Totally eating there next time!! On our way home, we took the scenic route and boy was that worth it! Thank you Becky for suggesting it awhile ago! It was beautiful! The kids liked it too! They got to get out more and walk around more and we stopped at the falls as well. So much fun! Now we get to save up the money to hopefully soon, do it again!
