Winter Wonderland

Yes its that time of year. The time of year when everyone puts on their warm coats and builds snowmen with their children. The time when a cup of hot chocolate and a warm fire are so inviting and warm. When we moved to Walla Walla, I asked how the snow was here. I learned that even though we are near the mountains, it rarely snows here. Just gets really cold! Then last year I think we got almost 8 inches of snow and then again this year we have 5 inches right now. Sure doesnt seem like rarely to me! lol Granted we've also had a storm and thats why we have all the snow. Its kinda nice. I love the snow for one reason. You can take some amazing fun pictures in the snow. I hate snow actually. I hate being cold and I hate people who act like they are snow driving experts and act like complete idiots on the road! Specially in an area where people arent use to the snow they still drive around like there's no snow at all! Very annoying! I only drive in the snow when I have to. I personally dont enjoy driving in the white stuff. My husband on the other hand, whole other story! When we had our little toyota, he use to pull the e-brake up and have the car spin into position. Granted it was in a safe area, but still. He loves the snow. Loves driving in, loves trying to get the car to spin, and loves to play in it with our dog, and loves how the snow makes everything pretty. And even though he has to pry our car door open every morning cause it froze over night, he seems to think the snow is pretty cool! He's crazy! The funny thing about the snow here, my sister who just recently moved to Walla Walla, lives closer to the mountains. They live on the other side of Walla Walla then we do. They had a huge amount of snow on Saturday and we had nothing. Didnt get anything till Saturday night while we were sleeping. We now have about 5 inches of snow and my sister has about 2 feet of snow! So, Im kinda glad I live here and not where they are!

Hopefully all of you with snow are driving carefully and enjoying it a little!! Start the fire, drink some cocoa, and enjoy the view!
